Best beer bong ever: fighter pilot helmet

Labor Day weekend always brings out the best of drinking and drinking equipment. While partying in Devil’s Cove on Lake Travis we tied up next to a well-prepared party Bayliner with this contraption. It is a standard fighter pilot’s helmet, complete with visor and oxygen mask. The oxygen mask’s tube leads to a funnel and an express lane to good times. Our friends used it quite heavily and surprisingly nobody complained about beer going up their nose.

Canned beer is the future of good beer

Whenever you think of good beer that thought is synonymous with being served in a brown bottle. This appears to be changing according to this article at Gizmodo. New canning technology allows microbrewers to can their beers now. It is beginning to take hold and is becoming more common. You may already see more canned micros at the liquor store.

This is a great boon to the boating community. Many lakes prohibit glass bottles and that effectively rules out a lot of people’s favorite beers. This will allow people to safely enjoy their favorite beers on the water without the risk of a broken bottle slicing up your feet.
