State of the Party Boating Union: Fall Edition

In many parts of the country, Labor Day signals the end of the boating season and this post is not about them. There’s a lot of positives about party boating in the Fall in a warm climate:

Party cove anchoring guide

The foundation for any day of having fun in your favorite party cove is a solid anchoring job. Party cove anchoring is different than typical anchoring for a couple reasons. Mainly because the boats around you change and it will usually will get more crowded. So as the cove fills in, you’re going to have to change your strategy.

Best beer bong ever: fighter pilot helmet

Labor Day weekend always brings out the best of drinking and drinking equipment. While partying in Devil’s Cove on Lake Travis we tied up next to a well-prepared party Bayliner with this contraption. It is a standard fighter pilot’s helmet, complete with visor and oxygen mask. The oxygen mask’s tube leads to a funnel and an express lane to good times. Our friends used it quite heavily and surprisingly nobody complained about beer going up their nose.
